About yogArt

We are a boutique studio serving the neighbourhood community as well as the surrounding areas of Seputeh. Our founder, Yuki Aizawa, is a Malaysian-based Japanese yoga practitioner and teacher who is passionate about sharing the joys of yoga and mindful living to others in search of balance in a world filled with endless distractions and external stimuli.

Yoga is the gift that keeps on giving…

… and is a life journey that never ceases to enlighten and amaze. As a physical practice, the “vinyasa” essence in yoga (linking postures or “asana” with the breath) is a kind of healing art form when practised with breath and body awareness. When this synergy exists, this is when internal healing happens as the physical body becomes stronger and more flexible. Stagnancy and inertia are released from our energetic pathways so that our internal life force (a.k.a. “prana” or “chi”) can flow freely. As the body starts to heal, so does the mind, soul and spirit. We start to notice a difference in ourselves on the mat as well as off, we focus more on self-care and nourishment, and move towards being the best version of ourselves with a renewed sense of awareness and wellbeing.

Environment

yogArt is located in a quiet and safe residential area of Taman Seputeh, a prime location in the Klang Valley that is easily accessible from Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya. We are unique in that our studio is housed in a double-storey bungalow with a garden and surrounding greenery. Our location in the mature neighbourhood of Seputeh means we are a distance away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and environmental pollution. There is also ample free parking just outside the studio.

Boutique Advantages

As a boutique studio, our class size remains small, never going beyond 15 students at a time. This allows our teachers to give their full attention to each student and their individual needs. Our focus is quality over quantity, and our skilled team of teachers have a wealth of knowledge and experience behind them to ensure that you get the best out of your practice. We’re also happy to be bringing together the expatriate Japanese community here with classes hosted by our Japanese teachers.

yogArt offers all forms of holistic healing under one roof. Besides yoga, we also have Muay Thai, Zumba and POP Pilates. We’re a co-sharing space and welcome healers, lightworkers and bodyworkers to conduct healings or workshops in our Healing Room. yogArt currently has a resident physiotherapist who operates from our space.

Take a moment to breathe…

… and feed your mind and body with goodness. Whatever you’re looking for, we hope you find your version of bliss here at yogArt.
